RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 03- ►a 9 -CC
ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM CURRENT
EXPENSE ENDING FUND BALANCE
FOR GRANT COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, as the county
legislative authority, deem it to be fiscally responsible to maintain an ending fund balance in the
county Current Expense budget equal to the amount of three (3) months of expenditures, in the
event of unforeseen circumstances that could adversely affect the budget and the county's
operations; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined this amount should be
achieved by December 31, 2003,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by this Board of County
Commissioners that the Chief Deputy Auditor/Chief Accountant, as a part of the Current
Expense budget, be directed to achieve the goal outline above.
