HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 03-147-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION No. 2003-1 y1CC A RESOLUTION relating the transfer of funds within the 2003 budget of the Law and Justice Fund #121, Department #163. WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners that it is necessary to transfer funds within the current budget of the above-named County Department(s) in the amounts enumerated below; and WHEREAS, there is no expenditure of funds not previously budgeted but a transfer pursuant to RCW 36.40. 100 and County and State auditing procedures; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, THAT the following transfers within the current budget are hereby made: 2003 Budget of the Law and Justice Fund #121, Department #163 From To Account Number Amount Account Number Name 121.163.000.000.508.00.00.00 $16,000 121.163.000.120.563.20.41.19 Pathology $16,000 Explanation: To re -allocate ending fund balance for unanticipated cost of the number of autopsies. Due to a large increase in cases requiring autopsies, the current budgeted amou"W be insufficient for the duration of this year. I am respectfully requesting $14000.00 to meet the projected demands for this line item. Forty-five autopsies have already been performed to date out of 230 cases. As of today's date this office is 37 cases above last years caseload. Attached is a breakdown of autopsies performed to date. Jerry D.
