The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. [�/,),Ih`I The Commissioners approved the starting salary of June Strickler of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office at 90% of a secretary I, effective December 18, 2000. q.1 Ix'`, The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Edward A. Owens of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to a Deputy Prosecutor II effective January I, 2001. 4,�,The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Carrie Nordberg of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to 100% of a secretary IV, effective December 1, 2000. [The Commissioners approved the change in status of Jean Adamson who is moving from the Juvenile Probation Office to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office effective January 2, 2001 with a starting salary of 100% of a secretary 1I. Sonnabend who is moving from the Juvenile Probation Office to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office effective January 2, 2001 with a starting salary of 100% of a secretary II. t,-),W,/,The Commissioners approved the Request for Transfer of Funds in the Clerk's budget in the amount of $9,000. IrI,),I The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Mary L. Rohlman of the Juvenile Probation Office at $1,660.50 per month effective December 1, 2000. 1,1,11 1/ The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Patti Cabe of the Cooperative Extension Office to $2,114 per month effective December 1, 2000. motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -160 -CC in the matter of approving the modifications to the Moses Lake Estates Planned Unit Development Phase 1 map to include 141 single-family lots, water front park, shoreline habitat area, wildlife habitat area, central park area uses on 250 acres in a portion of Section 3, 4 9, Township 18 North, Range 28 East, Willamette Meridian requested by Lawrence and Sheri Jacobsen be passed. The motion carried. 4-),1-}-� The Commissioners signed the Indigent Defense Contract for District Court with Earl & Earl. The Contract for Superior Court (Juvenile) with Douglas Anderson, and the Contract for Superior Court with Thomas J. Earl. /. ; , " , The Commissioners spent the remainder of the day working on the 20th budget. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until December 19, 2000. December 19, 2000 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with Commissioner Allison and Commissioner Snead in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Resolutions-R/W Vacation, Load Restrictions, Purchase Request -Printer, Anti -Icer Proposal, Budget Revisions -Road Fund, ER & R, Solid Waste, Personnel -Dropbox Attendants, Annual/Sick Leave Clarification. The Commissioners approved the salary increase for Dropbox Attendants to $6.72 per hour to meet the minimum wage requirements January 1, 2001. y ;/,)4- The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Jeffery S. Wentworth of the Sheriff's Office at $2,092.70 per month effective December 12, 2000. / '-/;�7The Commissioners signed the Public Works Annual/Sick Leave clarification for Non -Represented Supervisory Personnel. r1,11 %n' As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office 12/18/2000 in the total amount of $987,517.72. /—.i'%,A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2000 -161 -CC setting a Public Hearing for January 23, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. to consider vacating a portion of County Road relating to Chanute Road and State Highway 17 be passed. The motion carried. motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2000 -162 -CC in the matter of load restrictions on Grant County roads be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners spent the remainder of the day working on the 2001 budget.
