HomeMy WebLinkAboutCommissioners Proceedings - Commissioners - 20 (186)COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of November 6, 2000 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Deborah Moore, all of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. 14,)!N�- `The Commissioners approved a request by the Department of Emergency Management for a budget extension for the purchase of a fax machine and laser printer in the amount of $2,861. l,�c�41 The Commissioners announced their decision to divide the Department of Community Development with Dave Nelson as the Director of the Building and Fire Marshal Office, and Scott Clark as Director of the Planning Department. qi )nh, The Commissioners received a Summons and complaint from the United States of America regarding the Hintz et al matter. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling. The Commissioners received to letters from Craig Maxwell. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling. ;y ;�_The Commissioners approved the request by the County Coroner to contract with Penny Sibley for one weekend per month at a cost of $400 to allow the Coroner to have one weekend per month off call. •> �'OThe Commissioners set a Public Meeting for November 27, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. regarding a Plat Alteration request by Sandra Thompson to combine Lot #32, Lot #33, and Lot 934 of Desert Aire No. 6, Replat No. 2 into one parcel. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until November 7, 2000. November 7, 2000 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding PLP Letter-WSDOE, Easement-USBR, Weather Info., Gravel Road Study, Hearing Notice -Road Vacation, Road System/KULE. 1�1)1,7/A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -141 -CC setting a Public Hearing for December 5, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. on the vacation of a portion of County Road 2 SE from the Northeast corner of Section 17, Township 18 North, Range 30 E. W.M. be passed. The motion carried. 'gd-O)J-The Commissioners received notification from the Public Works Director that U -SW Road Reconstruction project was built in accordance with the plans and specifications, and that all materials incorporated into the project met contract specifications. (,-1a,n 7 As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 11/06/2000 in the total amount of $443,874.59. The Commissioners signed a Contract for Services with Grant County Title Company for more effective access to its mainframe computer for the purpose of allowing ease of access to public records.
