Commissioner Allison was in attendance with the Clerk of the Board Commissioner Snead was out of the office due to illness. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. ,,I 1'4,9 The Commissioners received a Claim for Damages from John E. Wyles. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling. ! q t -J q oChairman Moore was authorized to sign the Notice of Separation or Work Interruption of Brian J. Siebert of the Juvenile Probation Department. `41'1,4 1 Chairman Moore was authorized to sign the Exemption from Shoreline Management Act Substantial Development Permit for the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. 1417 IJ Commissioner Snead received an amended Summons and Complaint from Roger Fair et al. July 18, 2000 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding 10:00 a.m. KULE/Radio System, Solid Waste Labor Contract, Resolution - Road Establishment, RAP Submittals, 5 NW -BST, Computer Purchase, Bike Race, WSDOT-Intersection Improvement, Personnel. 1 `}1 /'/`The Commissioners were notified that the W -NE Road project was build in accordance with the plans and specifications, and that all materials incorporated into the project met contract specifications. 1q-1'P4�5 The Commissioners approved the awarding of the bid on `U' SW Road Reconstruction to the low bidder, Tommer Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $287,325.84. The Commissioners signed the Request to the County Road Department for Reimbursable Work for the City of Quincy. � 1.1 y,/ A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -74 -CC in the matter of setting a Public Hearing to establish a certain road as part of the County Road System be passed. The motion carried. q ( aWThe Commissioners signed approval of the Request for Transfer of funds in the Mental Health Fund 9408, Department #150 in the total amount of $159,542. f41 7yy The Commissioners signed a notice of Public Hearing for the Grant Mental Health Fund 9408, Department #150 in the amount of $55,678. Public Hearing to be held August 1, 2000. i Jac, The Commissioners signed approval of the Request for Transfer of fund in the Sheriff's Department #114, Current Expense Fund 4001 in the amount of $3,110. y �'1 I A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2000 -75 -CC in the matter of approving a Preliminary Plat for Wolikill Feed and Fertilizer Corporation be passed. Hinsley of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,004.30 per month. //�/7ayThe Commissioners approved the salary increase of Valerie K. Tempel of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,245.60 per month. x/7:7 The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Michael A. Lidbetter of the Juvenile Probation Department to $1,113.50 per month. /y 17��,The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Katherine N. Maw of the District Court Department at $1,477.60 per month, effective July 12, 2000. 14 17-5 7 As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office 7/17/2000 in the total amount of $542,011.19.
