All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. 14f��'-�� The Commissioners approved the request for out of state travel for Suzi Fode of Grant Mental Healthcare to attend meetings in Oregon. Wj4o�-, The Commissioners approved the request by Judge Antosz for cnanges in the Superior Court Office in the amount of $7,610 plus tax. iy 14oa l The Commissioners signed the Payroll Warrants list 9113295 through 4113958 for the month of May. lq 1103 dI As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 5/31/2000 in the total amount of $55,226.18. lgi�d `I As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 6/5/2000 in the total amount of $449,925.70. 0 The Commissioners appointed Linda Jo Williams to a position as Resident Commissioner with the Housing Authority of Grant County. The Commissioners set a Public Hearing for June 26, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. regarding a supplemental budget for the Grant County Prevention and Recovery Fund #1 15, Department # 157 in the total amount of $5,000. � jll,,=„`,The Commissioners held a Closed Record Public Hearing regarding the Tim Kenney Preliminary Plat Application and the Woltkill Feed & Fertilizer Corp. Preliminary Plat Application. The proponents requested that the application hearings be held conjointly. After discussion and consideration a motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead to approve the Kenney Preliminary Plat, a 14 -lot subdivision on approximately 31.1 1 acres in the Light Industrial Zone. The Plat is located in a portion of Farm Unit 152, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project, in the Southeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 18 North, Range 28 East, the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 18 North, Range 29 East, Willamette Meridian. Approval based on conditions and findings as agreed to. The motion carried. The Commissioners then moved on to consider the Wolfkill Feed and Fertilizer Corp. Preliminary Plat Application. After review of the record and discussion a motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead to approve the Wolfkill Feed and Fertilizer Corp. Preliminary Plat, a 28 lot subdivision on approximately 36.54 acres in the Light Industrial Zone, recognizing the limited conditional use permit per plat and recognizing lots consolidated as discussed with conditions and findings as submitted by the Planning Department. The Commissioners held a Public Hearing regarding an ordinance relating Comprehensive Planning for Grant County, for the purpose of adopting errata sheets to correct inadvertent scrivener's errors contained in the Grant County Comprehensive Plan published pursuant to Grant County Ordinance No. 99 -158 -CC. A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead to adopt Ordinance Number 2000 -57 -CC adopting the errata sheets as presented. Discussion followed regarding the fact that the errors were just scrivener's errors not errors in the drafted document. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 6, 2000. June 6, 2000 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. 'q l 3 `> The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Merrilyn J. Ferebee of the Sheriff's Department at $1,723.20 per month. (�, 3 u The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Marlo Alvarado of the District Court Office to $2,289 per month effective June 1, 2000. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Juan J. Rodriguez of the District Court Office to $3,069 per month effective June 1, 2000. L, The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Tess Grant of the District Court Office to $2,082 per month. I<- 7 The Commissioners set a Public Meeting for June 26, 2000 at 1:30 P.m. regarding the proposed re -plat of lot 2 of the Johnson Short Plat on Scott Rd. in Section 16, Township 19 N., Range 28 East W.M. requested by Ron and Rebecca Sawyer. l� ;y The Commissioners set a Public Meeting for June 26, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. regarding the proposed re -plat of lots 2 and 3 of the Walker Industrial Short Plat into 3 lots ranging in size from 4.9 acres to 2.9 acres requested by Dale Walker. The proposal is located at 13624 N. Frontage Rd. in a portion of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 32, Township 19 N., Range 29 E. W.M. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 7, at 1:30 p.m. June 7, 2000 The session was continued at 1:30 p.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with Dennis Reynolds, Mike McCormick and others in executive session regarding possible litigation.
