HomeMy WebLinkAboutCommissioners Proceedings - Commissioners - 20 (152)COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of March 13, 2000 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. on March 13, 2000 by Chair Deborah Moore. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. 411"IJ The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Leslie C. Kliphardt of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,862 per month. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Kevin M. Hake of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,004.30 per month. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Eli Rodriquez of the Cooperative Extension Office to $1,865.70 per month. y i,;!. The Commissioners approved out of State travel for Kathy Ochoa and Pat Burleson of Grant Mental Healthcare to attend a conference on Trauma, Violence and Abuse. The Commissioners approved out of State travel for Mark Biallas of the Sheriff's Office to attend the Intermediate Boating Accident Investigation Training. ,(I The Commissioners approved the request by the Department of Community Development for a budget increase from the unreserved fund balance in the amount of $14,000 for a permitting system from Computech. ( y 1 :3 7`l As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 3/13/2000 in the total amount of 578,927.56. (y' Chair Deborah Moore was authorized to sign the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Response Form. 1 �`Ne)l A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2000 -22 -CC relating to the transfer of funds within the 2000 budget of the Law and Justice Fund #121, Department # 163 in the amount of $1,700 be passed. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until March 14, 2000. March 14, 2000 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Contract Execution -Fuel Contract, Asphalt Trailers, `W' NW, Gravel Road Listing. 4The Commissioners signed a contract with Beall Trailers of WA for four Beall insulated semi -trailers and four insulated pull -trailers. The Commissioners signed a contract with North Central Petroleum for fuel. l i 1c�<I Chairman Moore was authorized to sign the Rural Arterial Program Certification of Road Fund Expenditures for Traffic Law Enforcement. The Commissioners signed a contract with Tommer Construction Company, Inc. for the W -NE Road Project. 11,4 f ^Ptd The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher approval 42-1 through #2-187 in the total amount of $922,893.73. 1,� yr)y A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -23 -CC requesting changes in the Endangered Species Act be passed. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was adjourned until March 20, 2000.
