Chairman Allison was attending meetings in Washington D.C. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. y,) 41 n I The Commissioners approved the Request for Transfer of Funds in the Juvenile Probation Department in the amount of $725.00 for the purchase of a digital camera. The Commissioners approved the request for purchase of the NT file server from Law and Justice funds in the amount of $2,589 for the Grant County Law Library. l n ; The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Tina Brissey of the Assessors Office at $1641 per month, effective March 21, 2001. ,Y ,„y The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheriff's Office for the purchase of 2 radios from the Law and Justice fund in the amount of $4,108. /q,„,, , "The Commissioners signed off on the Payroll warrants list #120945 through # 121551 for the month of February. i,kq �-6, The Commissioners received the Certificate of Liability Insurance for USA Media Group LLC. The Commissioners received a Subpoena and Complaint for Damages from Patrick Acres, Personal Representative of the Estate of Carrie Vinson Taueu, et al. The matter was referred to the prosecuting Attorney for handling. ,'4.Al1/c` The Commissioners received a signed and filed copy of the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Washington State Military Department and Grant County, Contract Number: EMO 10356. , 4 `i The Commissioners approved the request from Brenda Larsen of the Building Department to attend the National Fire Academy "Interviewing and Interrogation" course in Emmitsburg, MA. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until March 6. March 6, 2001 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with Commissioner Snead and Commissioner Moore in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Annual certification -CRAB, Material Removal License-Ovenell Farms (Caliche), Award Recommendation -Dump Boxes, Contract Execution - Western Power and Equipment, Bid Authorization -Road `I V SW, CRP 01- 12, Auctioneering Services, Herbicides, 10:30 bid opening -Water Trailer, Water Pump, Water Flusher Tank & Asphalt Relay Tank, 11:00 Hearing - Declaration of Surplus Property, Resolution -Order Granting Sale. i.) y'%LThe Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Public Works Director to award the Contract for dump boxes to Cascon Transportation Equipment. I41.) Itr=, A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -37 -CC regarding the road name change of Viewcrest Drive and Viewmont Drive be passed. The motion carried. i« �//The Commissioners held a bid opening on various Public Works equipment. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that the bids be referred to the Public Works Department for their review and recommendation. The motion carried. ...... aIhe Commissioners signed the Authorization to sell surplus equipment. Bid opening date will be March 20, 2001 at 10:45 a.m. f, � The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids for 2001 Auctioneering Services. Bid opening date will be April 10, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. i� 7 The Commissioners signed the Authorization to call for proposals for year 2001 herbicide materials. Bid opening date will be March 20, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Vii/ a The Commissioners signed the Authorization to call for bids on Road 11 -SW. Bid opening date will be March 20, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. The Commissioners signed the Contract with Western Power and Equipment for the purchase of pavement patchers, tow paver, and broom. 14> The Commissioners signed the License to remove material with Ovenell Farms, Inc. The Commissioners held a Public Hearing and a motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -38 -Cc in the matter of a proposal to dispose of certain county - owned equipment be passed. The motion carried. Commissioners signed the Annual Certification for calendar year 2000 for the Public Works Department. ,,j" �y1y As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 2/28/01 in the total amount of $107,595.99. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment /those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 3/5/01 in the total amount of $424,356.75. L�'IS The Commissioners signed the Agreement with Integrus Architecture, P.S. for the Grant Mental Healthcare office project. The Commissioners appointed Raymond Minatani to fill a vacancy in the Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of $2751.30 per month for Linda Anderson in the position of Co-occurring Coordinator/Facilitator working with Grant County PARC and Grant Mental Healthcare. I4,' /Jz The Commissioners approved the request by Grant County Information Services for the purchase of an Epson Powerlit LED projector in the amount of $5,850. i,) The Commissioners approved out of state travel for Bill Fode and Lisa Cordova of Grant Mental Healthcare to attend the National Behavioral Mental Health Conference.
