HomeMy WebLinkAboutCommissioners Proceedings - Commissioners - 20 (127)V COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of December 26, 2001 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 10:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. /,�A y'y� The Commissioners received notification from Integrus Architecture that they recommended awarding the low bidder, PBI Construction, Inc. of Spokane, WA the contract for the Grant Mental Healthcare Facility in the amount of $2,889.015. The Commissioners notified Grant County Humane Society, Inc. that they had approved the requested amount of $30,000 for the year 2002 budget. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -219 -CC setting the levy rate for the Mental Health budget at 1.00 percent or the amount of $102,862 be passed. The motion carried. 4 -/.1-A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -220 -CC setting the levy rate for the Veteran's Relief fund budget at 1.00 percent or the amount of $46,288 be passed. The motion carried. f�,1y A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -221 -CC in the matter of adopting the Grant County Budgets for the 2002 year be passed. The motion carried. r: , I ? A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -222 -CC setting land classifications and assessments for funding the 2002 budget of the Grant County Noxious Weed Board be passed. The motion carried. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -223 -CC relating to the transfer of funds within the 2001 budget of the Current Expense Fund 4001 in the amount of $18,891 be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Ruth M. Price of the District Court Office at $6.72 per hour effective December 19, 2001. I�- Chairman Allison was authorized to sign the Notice of Separation of Michelle R. Bohnet and Jennifer L_ Fouty-Hiatt of the District Court Office. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office December 26, 2001 in the total amount of $744,301.08. Chairman Allison was authorized to sign the Notice of Liquor License Application, corrected version for Quincy Golf Course. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until December 28, 2001. December 28, 2001 The session was continued at 11:00 a.m. with Chairman Allison and Commissioner Snead in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. �V; 13 � The Commissioners attended the Finance Committee meeting with the Treasurer and the Assessor. The Commissioners signed the Public Works Payroll Journal for the month of December in the amount of $354,907.93.
