Allison. All of the Commissioners were in attendance. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Jail financial Clerk Donna Jirak to $1938.60 per month. /-�.),/A"' The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Control Room Operator, Lois Schutt to $1,938.60 per month. The Commissioners signed the Agreement with Power City Electric, Inc. on the Grant County Justice Center -Electronics Security Controls Renovation project. rv, The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Jail Cook, rNaomi "Sue" Ochocinski to $1,989.90. The Commissioners denied a request by Corrections Sgt. Bill Nelson to set his hire date at January 1, 1982. ", V,0/1 As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers filed in the Auditors office August 13, 2001 in the total amount of $583,195.68. A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -130 -CC authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Human Resources Department #124 in the amount of $4,000 be passed. The motion carried. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -131 -CC setting a Public Hearing for September 10, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. relating to the facts requiring an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Misc. General Government #125 in the amount of $50,000 be passed. The motion carried. /�-�yV7A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -132 -CC indicating that Fredrick Chapman, MSW qualifies as a Designated Mental Health Professional and that he be designated to provide the services of a County Designated Mental Health Professional effective August 27, 2001. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until August 14, 2001. August 14, 2001 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding 10:45 a.m. Bid Opening -Fuel Management System, Bid Authorization - Stratford Road/7-NE Road, Royal City Shop Design -Architecture Approval, Execution of Contracts -7 -NW and B -NW Roads, Personnel, Radio's for Public Works and Users of Frequency, Gravel to BST Program, Q -NE Road, CPG Grant -Meeting September 6 at 2:00 p.m., and Tony Menke Billing. �a9�Y The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on the Stratford Road (Sagedale Road to Tyndall, 7 -NE Road (Stratford Road to Randolph Road, CRP 01-08 and CRP 01-04. Bid opening date to be August 28, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. r 1�''�j ? The Commissioners held a Bid Opening on Fuel purchases. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore to refer the bids to the Public Works Department for their review and recommendation. The motion carried. ,�) The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval #7-1 through #7-219 in the total amount of $1,873,510.58. The Commissioners signed a contract with Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. on Road 7 -NW and B -NW Roads. 14.E -IW -The Commissioners signed an Agreement with North Central Washington Regional Support Network regarding Community Mental Health Services. The Commissioners established a Burn Ban effective at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2001. i" -9%5i The Commissioners approved out of State travel to allow Dave Nelson to attend the International Conference of Building Officials Annual Business Meeting September 15-21, 2001. %.?"?"/''_The Commissioners approved the salary of Debra Gonzalez of Grant County PARC at $2,018.70 per month effective August 6, 2001. Chairman Allison was authorized to sign the 2001 Grant County Sheriff Towing Contract with Agri -Fix. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was adjourned until August 20, 2001.
