Allison. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. /,fo ,?/.I --The Commissioners approved the request by the County Clerk to increase Carla Gonzales wage by 3% since she is in a supervisory position. j ,i x//11 The Commissioners approved the request by the County Clerk to allow Angie Garaces to start work at 90% of the wage of Deputy Clerk I. I` The Commissioners approved the request by the County Clerk to a�low Amy Sperline to start work at 90% of the wage of Deputy Clerk I. /`'-D//�- The Commissioners received a Notice of Claim from Bob Stewart. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling. /��� Jif The Commissioners received a Notice of Claim from Gary Evans. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling. /</ � �//As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office 7/23/01 in the total amount of $284,614.07. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -117 -CC setting a Public Hearing relating to the facts requiring an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Human Resources Department # 124 in the amount of $4,000 be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners met in executive session with the Prosecuting Attorney, the Planning Director and Building Director regarding Rimrock Cove and the Uniform Development Code. 2001. As there was no further business the session was continued to July 24, July 24, 2001 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding a Public Hearing on the road vacation in Trinidad, Public Hearing on the Six Year Transportation Plan, Public Hearing on Westshore Drive, Public Hearing -Surplus Equipment for Auction and Order Granting Sale, Bid Authorization -Public Works Fuel Management System, Execution of Award Letter -Central WA Asphalt -7 -NW & B -NW Roads, Bid Authorization - Patton Blvd, SWAC Membership, N -SE Road, and Bridge Contracts. The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on the Public Works Fuel Management System. Bid opening to be August 14, 2001 at 10:45 a.m. /11>'7d,_�.The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on Patton Blvd. SR 17 to Andrews Street. Bid opening to be August 7, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Public Works Director and awarded the bids on 7 -NW & B -NW Roads to Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. in the amount of $314,018. The Commissioners signed the contract with Hilmes Construction, Inc. for the 12 SE Road project. Public Hearing was held regarding the request for vacating portions of certain County Roads and Rights -of -Way in the Trinidad area. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore to continue the matter to July 31, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. The motion carried. A Public Hearing was held regarding the adoption of the 6 -year transportation improvement program for the years 2002-2007. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead to continue the hearing to July 31, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. The motion carried. A Public Hearing was held regarding the Franchise application of Westshore Improvement LLC. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore to grant the franchise for landscaping, median islands, signs, irrigation and lighting systems on Westshore Drive within the Moses Pointe Planned Unit Development. The motion carried. /q �A Public Hearing was held in the matter of County surplus equipment sale. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2001 -118 -CC declaring equipment surplus be passed. The motion carried. A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2001- 119 -CC approving the sale of Grant County property located at 440 15` Street NW in Ephrata be passed. The motion carried. 1173'��) A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioners Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2001- 120 -CC in the matter of an order granting the sale of surplus equipment and merchandise be passed. The motion carried. /4-/,,k%3/ The Commissioners approved the request by the Juvenile Probation Department for the purchase of 2 copiers. 93�-The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Valerie K. Tempel of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,863 per month. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was adjourned until July 30, 2001.
