Allison. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. ; / The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Brian W. Adams of the Juvenile Probation Department to $1,816.80 per month. � ,,).,The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Karen Y. Peters of the Juvenile Probation Department to $1,816.80 per month. ,y, ,,/� 3 The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Donald J. Colson of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,271 per month. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Korrina L. Keil of the Juvenile Probation Department at $1,816.80 per month. / 0,,Y35The Commissioners approved the liquor license application of the Potholes Sports Cafe. pv-42,C,The Commissioners approved the monthly rent increase to $592 retroactive to May 1, 2001 for the Coroner's Office. The Commissioners approved the request that Ray Audet of the Building Department be given the 3% salary increase given to supervisory personnel. 4_;/The Commissioners approved the request by Grant Mental Healthcare for an increase in the Crisis Response Revolving Fund and a decrease in the Intensive Hospital Diversion Revolving Fund. �39The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Ashley Ponozzo of the District Court Department at $6.72 per hour. The Commissioners approved out of state travel to allow personnel of Grant Mental Healthcare to transport clients to a summer camp program in Idaho. The Commissioners approved the Request for Transfer of funds in the Building/Fire Marshal's budget in the amount of $1,200. The Commissioners signed Form Amendment No. 5 with the North Central Washington Regional Support Network. � /', The Commissioners appointed 011ie Click, Bonnie Rea, Mary Harrington and Bill West to positions on the Grant County Fairboard. j/,;4/�' The Commissioners held a Public Meeting on the Luis Farias Reasonable Use Exception request to allow the development of a single- family dwelling on Lots 5 and 6 of the Wheeler Plat in the Rural Community Zone of Grant County. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -103 -CC approving the Farias Reasonable Use Exception be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners held a Public Meeting on the Matthew and Kari Hermanson Reasonable Use Exception request to allow the development of a 2.5 -acre parcel in the rural Residential 3 Zone of Grant County. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -104 -CC approving the Hermanson Reasonable Use Exception be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners received a Summons and Complaint from Pacific Northwest Sugar Company, L.L.C. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for handling. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 6/29/01 in the total amount of $69,756.98. The Commissioners signed the Payroll Warrants list #124127 through #124815 for the month of June. / As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 7/03/01 in the total amount of $457,857.20. 151�� A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -105 -CC in the matter of denying Reasonable Use Exception requested by Richard Larsen for one parcel, approximately 2.06 acres in size, located in a portion of Section 25, Township 18 North, Range 30 East, W.M. be passed. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until July 3, 2001. July 3, 2001 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding 10:30 a.m. Bid Opening -Bridge #380, 7 -NW, CRP 00-9, 10:45 a.m. Bid Opening -12 -SE Road, CRP 00-11, Authorization to Call for Bids on 7 -NW, (Dodson to B -NE), B -NW (3 -NW to 7 -NW), and 7 -NW (B -NW to End), Notice of Hearing -Vacating of Roads in Trinidad, Haul Road/Detour Agreement -South Frontage Road, Franchise for Westshore Dr. Re- alignment, Personnel Issues. /4? -Y d i The Commissioners held a Bid Opening on Bridge #380, 7 -NW. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore to refer the bids to Public Works for their review and recommendation. The motion carried. i/,�,; ,)-The Commissioners held a Bid Opening on 12 -SE Road. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore to refer the bids to Public Works for their review and recommendation. The motion carried. The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on CRP 01-08, 7-NW(Dodson to B -NW); CRP 01-09, B -NW (5 -NW to 7 -NW); CRP 01-25, 7 -NW (B -NW to End). Bids to be opened July 17, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -106 -CC in the matter of setting a Public Hearing for July 24, 2001 at 11:45 a.m. to consider its intention to dispose of County owned equipment declared surplus be passed. The motion carried. s A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -107 -CC setting a Public Hearing for July 24, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. regarding the petition to vacate portions of certain County roads and rights-of-way in the Resurvey of and Addition to Trinidad, Book 1, Page 61 of Plats be passed. The motion carried. iy '5�, The Commissioners awarded the bid for 12 -SE Road to Hilmes Construction, Inc. for the price of $1,209,440.57. The Commissioners awarded the bid for Bridge #380, 7 -NW to Tommer Construction Co., Inc. for the price of $173,755.26. 1113�) W The Commissioners approved the Building Permit Application Supplemental Notes form submitted by the Building Department. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Trish Olson of the Auditors Office at $9.00 per hour as a part time, on call licensing employee. motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -108 -CC relating to the transfer of funds within the 2001 budget of the Law and Justice Fund #121, Department #163 in the amount of $4,110 for the Prosecuting Attorney Department access to Westlaw product on line be passed. The motion carried. ; 71d J16 / The Commissioners met with the State Auditors regarding the audit exit interview.
