Allison. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. N,)kZ I The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Clinton J. Grammer of the Assessors Office at $8.00 per hour for three eight-hour days per week. The Commissioners hired Derek Pohle as the new Director of Public Works for Grant County. His starting date will be May 21, 2001 with a salary of $65,000 per year when he begins full time employment with Grant County. S The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Marilyn Wilm of the Grant County Fairgrounds to $9.00 per hour. The Commissioners approved the request by the Fair Manager for a Transfer of Funds in the amount of $5,200. �•,�SThe Commissioners approved the request by the Fair Manager for Transfer of Funds in the amount of $9,717.06. The Commissioners approved the Request for Transfer of Funds in the Capital Outlay Department in the amount of $4,500 for costs of a greater capacity file server for the Elections Department and a fax machine for the Human Resources Department. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 5/l/01 in the total amount of $251,204.79. i,�,)� ,X As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 5/7/01 in the total amount of $496,342.80. I,' •',,,;yA motion was made by Commissioner Snead, and seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -70 -CC regarding Strategic Infrastructure Program Award Policies be passed. The motion carried. /. ", '/'(� The Commissioners signed Form Amendment # 4 between the North Central Washington Regional Support Network and Grant County. The Commissioners signed the Employee Status Form for Jerry Butler who is leaving the Sheriff's Office to work in the Building Department. ;-OLY .The Commissioners signed the Building Agreement with Steel Storage Systems, Inc. to construct a Horse Barn at the Fairgrounds. ,iaL­13 The Commissioners signed an Agreement with the State of Washington, Department of Corrections for the VOITIS Incentive Grant Program. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until May 8, 2001. The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Interim Public Works Director regarding Contract Executions -Crack Sealing Services, CRP 01-07, 9 -NW, CRP 01-10, 3 NE, CRP 01-05, 7 -NE, CRP O1-11, 9 -NE, CRP 01-06, D -SW, 10.2-SW,E-SW, Spring cleanup totals, Stop sign revisions, Grant Pl. & Golf Club Rd., Randolph & 22"d Ave., Water line replacement permit request - Larson Subdivision, well damage -Grant Orchards, Personnel. 14*q4 The Commissioners signed a Contract with B.C.V. Inc. for Crack Sealing Services. �y a 4y f:;The Commissioners received a request to vacate and abandon certain portions of roads and alleys in the Plat of Resurvey of and Addition to Trinidad located in Book 1, page 61 of Plats. Commissioners signed the Contract with Tommer Construction Company, Inc. for CRP 01-05, 7 NE, and CRP 01-11, 9 -NE. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Kevin Davis of the Maintenance Department to full salary beginning June 1, 2001. i The Commissioners signed the 2001 Spirituous Liquor Agreement with House of Blues Concerts. �4•�I�sa, Chairman Allison was authorized to sign the Interlocal Agreement with the Town of Coulee City for the administration and enforcement of the Uniform Building Code. L4.�4,5!�A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -71 -CC approving a preliminary Plat for Whispering Plains Estates requested by Carolyn and Michael Coombs be passed. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was adjourned until May 14, 2001.
