Commissioner Moore was in attendance. Commissioner Allison was out of town. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. i r a t The Commissioners approved the request by Grant County Juvenile Department for salary increases for Shareen Laughlin and Kathy Nelson to $2,339 per month, effective June 1, 2002. f' i' i f '� The Commissioners approved the Request for Transfer of Funds in the Assessors Office in the amount of $1,000 from Regular Salaries & Wages to Advertising. Chairman Snead was authorized to sign approval of the Notice of Liquor License Application from Country Fresh Produce. ),:A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2002 -106 -CC setting the salary for the Grant County Prosecuting Attorney at $103,700.40 per year effective July 1, 2002. 1 I I I } I The Commissioners signed approval of the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. 6-1 through No. 6-195 in the total amount of $2,025,486.34. 14 , ! As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouches included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 7/15/02 in the total amount of $1,715,497.77. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until July 16, 2002. July 16, 2002 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Snead and Commissioner Moore in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Tonya Price of the Sheriffs Office at $2,019 per month as a Jail Cook, effective July 11, 2002. y it The Commissioners approved the request by the New Hope, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services to lay off the Administrative Assistant position because of funding cuts in the Victims of Crime Advocacy budget. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Resolution -Vacation Hearing/R-NW Road, Personnel -Multi Operation/Rd. District No. 3 -James Kemp, A.5 -SW Garbage, K -SW -Gravel Road Issue, Radio Tower Lease, Metals Drive. !+P,�) A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2002-d 107 -CC in the matter of vacation a portion of a certain County Road Right of Way. The motion carried. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was adjourned until July 22, 2002.
