All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. V3 X97 The Commissioners approved the starting salary of James M. Jackson as a Groundskeeper at the Fairgrounds at 80 % of $2,410 per month. i 3 W/�? The Commissioners notified all employees of their intention to implement the Compensation Plan on July 1, 2002. �_3 S'9gAs of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 5/6/02 in the total amount of $449,115.11. 5")`�� The Commissioners approved the salary increase for Patti Cabe of the Treasurers Office to 100% of the monthly base salary amount of $2,294. /,f39U/The Commissioners received a petition regarding Roads "6"NE and Road "O" NE. The matter was referred to the Public Works Director. motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2002 -72 -CC relating to the transfer of funds within the 2002 budget of the Economic Enhancement Fund #113, Department #155 in the amount of $10,000 be passed. The motion carried. As there was not further business to come before the Board the session was continued until May 7, 2002. May 7, 2002 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding 10:30 Bid Opening -Q -NE Road, Authorization to Call for Bids -26 -SW Road & 28 -SW Road, CRAB -Project Agreement for Construction Proposal/L-NE Road, Execution of Contracts-HHW Collection, Fuel System Update, Road 70a2 -Dept. of Fish & Wildlife, Personnel -Recommendation for Road District No. I Supervisor, CPG Grant -Appliance and Car Recycling, Fairway Avenue, Discussion on Meeting Time Change. A/3;n.3 The Commissioners signed the Waste Collection, Transportation and Management Agreement with Teris,LLC, dba MSE Environmental. /f,�/ The Commissioners held a bid opening on the "Q" -NE Road project. A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison that the bids be referred to Public Works for their review and recommendation. The motion carried. 1� The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on 26 - SW Road and 28 -SW Road, The Bid opening date will be May 21, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. The Commissioners signed the Project Agreement with the State of Washington, County Road Administration Board, Rural Arterial Program for Construction Proposal on L -NE Road. Chairman Snead was authorized to sign the Grant County Fair Management Agreement. iy3)�a�The Commissioners informed North Central Construction, Inc. that they have been awarded the contract for the Q -NE Road project, in the amount of $220,690.60. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Aaron D. Seabright of the Sheriffs Office at 85% of Step Level I Corrections Officer pay, or $2,304.55 per month. I,V3 y10 The Commissioners received a copy of the City of Moses Lake's ordinance providing for the annexation of property located on Nelson Road east of the city's reservoir consisting of 5.63 acres and incorporating the same within the corporate limits of the city. They also provided a copy of the City's ordinance providing for the annexation of Department of Transportation rights-of-way located in various areas of the city consisting of a total of 120.13 acres and incorporating the same within the corporate limits of the city.
