RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION RESOLUTION No. 26- -CC
OF INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT AOC3272
BETWEEN GRANT COUNTY DISTRICT
COURT AND WASHINGTON STATE
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local government
entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other
localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and facilities in a
manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best with geographic,
economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development of local communities;
and
WHEREAS, Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is authorized
pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW to enter into Interagency Agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, by and through Grant County Community Court, is vested with
authority to enter into an Interagency Agreement pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of Interagency Agreement AOC3272 is to provide reimbursements
to Courts for assisting with costs related to Therapeutic Courts; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts and
Grant County, by and through Grant County Community Court, to enter into this Interagency
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Agreement between Grant County, by and through Grant County Community Court, and Washington
State Administrative Office of the Courts be approved.
