RESOLUTION NOTICE OF
HEARING re: RESCINDING
RESOLUTION 06-139-CC AND
ORDERING THE OPENING A
PORTION OF A CERTAIN
COUNTY ROAD
RESOLUTION No. 26- 014 -cc
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration
should be given to rescinding Resolution 06-139-CC, opening a County road and rights -of -way
known as VIEWMONT DRIVE and reinstating the road to County Maintained status:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: VIEWMONT DR OF DUNE LAKES FINAL PUD
PLAT, AFN 1085133, Roadlog 21603 IN SECTION 03 OF TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH,
RANGE 28 EWM, ALL IN GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON AND AS SHOWN
ON Exhibit A
WHEREAS, a petition to vacate this portion of the County Road was denied via
Resolution 26-065-CC as the closed road was determined to be useful to the public; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desire to consider opening the road to
vehicular traffic and removal of a gate placed via Resolution 06-139-CC, ORDER GRANTING
CLOSURE.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT AN OPEN RECORD
PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD September 29, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Grant
County Commissioners' Hearing Room #101, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA 98823.
Grant County is also providing access to this scheduled hearing via Zoom audio. To participate
in the hearing, please use the information provided below. You will enter the meeting in a
`muted' status until such time as the hearing allows for public testimony. If you have any
questions about this procedure, please call the Commissioners' Office in advance of the hearing.
