RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION RESOLUTION No. 26- DT '�- -CC
OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
WASHINGTON STATE ADMINISTRAVIVE
OFFICE OF THE COURTS AOC35080 AND
GRANT COUNTY JUVENILE COURT
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local government
entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other localities
on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and facilities in a manner and
pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best with geographic, economic,
population and other factors influencing the needs and development of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State .Administrative Office of the Courts is authorized pursuant to
Chapter 39.34 RCW to enter into interagency agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, Juvenile Court is vested with authority to enter into an interagency
agreement pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of Interagency Agreement AOC3580 is to partner with the individual
local courts in improving access to the Courts for limited English Proficient (LEP), deaf, hard of hearing,
and deaf/blind (D/HH/DB) individuals in accordance with RCE Chapters 2.42 and 2.43; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County Juvenile Court and Washington State Office of the
Courts into this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Agreement between Grant County Juvenile Court and Washington State Office of the Courts be
approved.
