RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 26- -CC
AMENDING THE TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP) FOR
THE 2027-2032 YEARS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Section 6, Chapter 83, Laws of
Extraordinary Session of the State of Washington, Grant County did prepare a Comprehensive
Transportation Improvement. Program for the ensuing six years; and
WHEREAS, a priority array of projects was prepared in accordance with the County
Road Administration Board Standards of good Practice: WAC 13 6-14 and was made available
and consulted by the Board during the preparation of the Six Year Program; and
WHEREAS a report with respect to deficient Bridges was available to the Board during
the preparation and discussion of the Six Year Program; and
WHEREAS a SEPA application was submitted for environmental pre -assessment and a
letter of Addendum was received from Grant County Development Services indicating that the
social, economic and aesthetic values would not be disturbed; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of RCW 36.81.121, the Board of County
Commissioners, being the legislative body of the County, did prepare, revise, and extend said Six
Year Program and did hold a public hearing on said Program at 11:3 0 a.m. at the Grant County
Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington on the 14th day of July, 2026, adopted via Resolution 26-049-
cC.
WHEREAS, A Notice of Public Hearing was published twice for 2 weeks preceding the
Hearing, with no objections to the process and, said hearing was held on August 24th, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the recommended
Amendment to the Six Year Program and has made the revisions and changes deemed
practicable to -the County's long range road program; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did prepare, revise, and amend the Six
Year Program and did hold a Public Hearing on August 24th, 2026, Adopting said. Program
Amendment via resolution 26- 6

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of
Commissioners ADOPT the attached Amendment to the Six Year Transportation Improvement
Program for the years 2027 through 2032, as shown in Attachment A.
