The City has now submitted the Facility Plan to the Washington State Department of Ecology, and our consulting engineers have been informed that Ecology's review comments are expected by late July or early August. Once those comments are received, the City and its engineers will need time to review, respond, and incorporate any required revisions to finalize the Facility Plan. This review cycle is a normal part of Ecology's process, but it extends beyond the timeline anticipated in the City's prior extension request. To ensure the Facility Plan is completed in full compliance with Ecology's requirements and to allow the City to address all comments thoroughly we respectfully request additional time under the SIP award. We appreciate your continued support and consideration. Please let us know if any further information or documentation is needed. Sincerely, Juan Villalpando, Mayor City of George
