RESOLUTION No. 26- 0q4 -CC
WHEREAS, the following Grants Administration funds are new to Grant County, and a
budget extension is needed to add these funds:
• Grants Administration Budget (190.001) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Beverly Water District, in the amount of $2,000,000.00.
WHEREAS, these additional funds were not anticipated when preparing the 2026
budget; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 3 6.40.140 a public hearing must be held to
authorize an additional budget extension; and,
WHEREAS, on the 3 01h day of June, 2026 at 11:45 a.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Grant County, State of Washington, that a budget extension in the total
amount of $2,000,000.00 to be allocated to the 2026 budget according to the following schedule
of categories and items:

Hi,
I've provided the Excel version in case you want to update the $2M amounts with more
accurate estimates. Attachment B — Scope and Budget weren't included, so I don't know the
planned disbursement schedule.
I used the BARS code for COMMUNITY PLANNING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (water
system improvement passed through as a Service Agreement, Object 40). If a different function
applies, let me know and I'll update it.
I also suggested PROD/PROJ #9960, previously used for the Beverly Water District. If you
prefer a different number, just let me know.
Since I don't know expected FY 2026 spending or progress of other Fund 190 items, I can't
determine whether an extension is necessary. But since a hearing is already scheduled,
requesting the extension seems safest hence the "as necessary" fields.
