RESOLUTION TO DECLARE RESOLUTION No. 26- 0 `� 8 -CC
SURPLUS GRANT COUNTY
SHERIFF'S OFFICE COUNTY -
OWNED VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff s Office has a 2010 and a 2011 Ford Crown
Victoria sedan to surplus and dispose of; and,
WHEREAS, these vehicles were re -purposed police vehicles used for pursuit
intervention and training; and,
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff s Office has determined that these vehicles are no
longer needed by Grant County due to no longer being serviceable and having been exposed to
rodent infestation resulting in them no longer being safe for employee use; and,
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriffs Office is requesting that the Grant County
Board of Commissioners declare these vehicles as surplus; and,
WHEREAS, once declared surplus, these vehicles will be disposed of at a metal
recycler.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners of Grant County, State of Washington, declare as surplus the above named
vehicles.
