The True Colors training provided by Clear Risk is a structured communication program presented by a certified facilitator. This training will provide staff with practical tools and techniques to bridge gaps in communication, trust, and respect among the different personality types that make up our team. Our goal in providing this training for staff is to strengthen personal interactions between staff, enhance internal communication, and create a more enjoyable and productive workplace. Given the nature of Development Service's work with frequent public contact and inter -departmental coordination this training will provide substantial benefits to our customer, service and team effectiveness. To support full staff participation and minimize disruption or interruptions during the training, we request permission to close the Development Services public counter to walk-in traffic and route any calls to voicemail. We will provide advance notice to the public via our website, posted signage, and outgoing voicemail messages, and will ensure that any critical or emergency matters are addressed before or immediately after the training session. Thank you for your consideration of this request. We appreciate the Board's continued support for staff development and efforts to improve customer service. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any additional information. Sincerely, Jim Anderson -Cook, Director Grant County Development Services "To foster a thriving, resilient, and safe community throqgrh innovative planning, efficient building processes, and robust fire prevention measures. -
