GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR GRANT COUNTY
TREASURER UPCOMING VACANCY
The Grant County Board of Commissioners announced today that Grant County will be
accepting applications for the Grant County Treasurer position following the announcement of
Darryl Pheasant's retirement, set to vacate the office June 30, 2026.
In accordance with RCW 36.29.0101 the County Treasurer is responsible for but not limited to: the
custody of the county's money and the administrator of the county's financial transactions, as well
as maintaining the collection of various taxes, including legal proceedings to collect past due
amount.
Application Deadline: June 25, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. To be considered, a complete application
packet must be emailed to commissionerskgrantcountywa. oovv. Email submissions are timed by
the Grant County Outlook Server. No late submissions will be considered.
A complete application must include:
• Cover Letter explaining the candidate's interest in the position,
• Resume detailing educational background and employment history, and
• List of at least three (3) Professional References with contact information.
Applicants must meet the same legal qualifications required to run for the office of Grant County
Treasurer, RCW 42.04.020
