Request Summary:
An employee from the above -referenced department has requested job -protected leave without pay for six (6) consecutive
weeks and six (6) weeks of intermittent leave, or the amount of time allotted by Washington State Paid Family and Medical
Leave (PFLM). This request comes after the employee has exhausted all available sick leave. As a newly hired employee
(hired on April 13, 2026), she does not have any annual leave accrued and does not qualify for job protection underthe Family
and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or the Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) programs.
