This submittal pertains to a recent vacancy due to an internal applicant (Appraiser) who applied for
and was selected to fill the Chief Appraiser position. The Assessor's Office is requesting to backfill the
A.ppaiser position.
Due to the current workload of the Appraisers within the Assessor's Office, this backfill is necessary.
The Appraisers in the Assessors Office are responsible for respective workscope residing over 68,000
parcels, and not backfilling this position increases the probability for additional turnover and burnout.
