TO: Grant County Commissioners
RE: Request for Extension of SIP Funding 2021-04
Dear Commissioners,
Please except any apologies for this request being late. Thank you, Karrie for the email reminder.
On behalf of the Port of Warden (Grant County Port District No. 8) 1 am requesting an extension
of SIP Funds 2021-04 until May 18th 2027.
The Port continues to collaborate with the City of Warden, Columbia Basin Railroad Co. LLC and
Western Pacific Engineering to identify an industrial road on the south side of Warden on Port
property.
The Port is working with the City of Warden to meet the City's standards to accommodate truck
traffic. The Port has about 100 acres to develop south of Highway 170.
The complexity of this project has taken longer then the Port has anticipated. The Port
appreciates your patients and all you have done for Port Districts,
Thanks for your consideration of the Port of Warden's request for an extension of the SIP Funds
2021-04.
Sincerely,,,-,
Pat Millard
