A "critical position" is one that is essential to maintaining public safety and the tegnt,, nancial, and operational continuity.
This request, if approved, would allow for RENEW to back -fill a Claims Processor 2 job vacancy, which
follo,vNred, after the transfer of an incumbent into a new position at RENEW (Financial Services
division - Accounting Tech). The indi-Odual that vacated her position for the Aect Tech role has
accepted the position and is currently transitioning.
An expediant recruitment effort NAZI be needed to fill this position, as it's responsible for processing
electronic claims, including, coding accuracy and. compliance. RENEW currently has only one person
in the position and RENEW was pre-viously approved to hire an additional FTE to support increased.
-vNTorkload. Hax ing one person in the position is not sustainable and presents risks of non-compliance
and increased bacIdog of claims needing to be processed, in addition to deficiencies in reporting
compliance.
