A "critical position " is one that is essential to maintaining public safety and the legal, financial, and operational continuity.
Jerry Jasman is set to retire on September 30, 2026. The Coroner is requesting to hire a replacement
for this position early to allow for a 2 to 3-month overlap. This overlap would provide an opportunity
for training before Jerr-r's departure. The monthly salary for the position is $7,451.6o. However, this

requested overlap is not currently accounted for in the budget. There gill be some savings from Jeri- 's
wages between October and December.
