RESOLUTION TO DECLARE
SURPLUS GRANT COUNTY PUBLIC
WORKS COUNTY -OWNED
PROPERTY FOR SALE TO
ANOTHER GOVERNMENTAL
ENTITY
RESOLUTION No. 26- 0 32- -CC
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of County
Commissioners has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the
county is surplus to the needs of the county; and,
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works owns one (1) 2003 Western Star Dump Truck
(Equipment No. 0560); and,
WHEREAS, Port of Ephrata, Port District No. 9 has a need for this dump truck and
desires to purchase it in the amount of $40,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works has requested that the Grant County Board of
County Commissioners declare this dump truck to be surplus to the needs of the department and
order the sale thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the County -Owned Property listed, and ordering the sale
thereof to Port of Ephrata, Port District No. 9.
