A "critical position" is one that is essential to inainta ning public safety and the legal,inancial, and operational continuity.
This request pertains to a position that was never backfilled, following a vacancy that was the result of
an internal transfer. In October an additional FTE was approved to hire an additional Eligibility Spec,
taking the headcount (FTEs) to 2.6. However, likely due to the timing of when budgets were
submitted and approved, it was not captured.
Renew's budget can withstand filling the position, and the additional support (backfill for the AA
position) is necessary to maintain the level of administrative support needed for mental health
sera ces offered..
