Authorization to Purchase
Permanent equipment for upgrade of lioness booth
Capital budget request: $90,000 —approved with 2026 budget (Reet 2)
Items included in this request are:
Walk-in cooler
H VAC system
Storage racks for both cooler and dry storage
Hood system for cooking equipment
Reach in Freezer
Refrigerated prep table
New signage
There may be additional items but we have a two-year window to prepare the old Eagles booth
for the Lioness.
Other building improvements through Central Services include:
New roof and soffits
New roll up back door
Concrete walkways to serving windows and back door
New electrical service
New water service
Paint
Depending on the cost of equipment we have advised the group that the Fairgrounds may raise
their commission to 20% for a fixed period of time to cover the costs of equipment. (This has
not been solidified)
All items will be purchased based on three quotes with lowest price selected.
