Dear Representative Newhouse,
On behalf of Grant County, we extend our sincere appreciation for your inclusion of
our Coroner's Office Advanced Equipment Project in your submissions to the House
Appropriations Committee.
The Coroner's Office Advanced Equipment Project would enable Grant County to maintain
uninterrupted coroner services for the region. Specifically, this project will support the
purchase of advanced equipment, which is a critical component of the larger initiative to
construct a new Coroner's Office. The equipment identified for this request will improve
investigative efficiency and enhance the overall quality of service provided to families, law
enforcement agencies, and the judicial system.
Your support for this project represents a meaningfal investment in public health and safety
in rural Central Washington. Although Grant County recognizes several steps remain before
funding for this project is finalized, we sincerely appreciate your continued commitment to
maintaining Coroner Services for residents across our region.
Thank you again for your leadership and dedication to the public health of Washington
residents. We are grateful for your continued support of Grant County and this project as it
advances through consideration by the House Appropriations Committee.
