Here is a breakdown of the information that the BOCC approved for District Court last week.
Increase to $108.70/hr to keep up with industry standards of other counties throughout the state,
and to match the Judge's current wage,
The BOCC wanted to knowif SC wanted to increase the rate for superior couil"s pro tern judges. When
we met last week, you explained that your office seldom uses pro tern commissioners and uses visiting
judges
instead and only pay their mileage. The current rate of your court commissioner is $95.33/hour.
We wilt be asking the BOCC for direction on increasingthe pro to commissioner to match the
$95.33/hour rate of the court commissioner.
UPDATE: the BOCC approved the increase to the pro tern commissioner wage to $95.33/hour,
