RE: PUD PRIVILEGE TAX
According to RCW 54.28.090, the county legislative authority shall
direct the county treasurer to distribute these funds to each
taxing district in the county other than school districts in a
manner they deem most equitable, except not less than an amount
equal to .75% of the gross revenue obtained by a district from the
sale of electrical energy within any unincorporated city or town
shall be remitted to such city or town.
Attached is a copy of the computation of the cities' and town's
portion which amounts to a total of $1,347,218.14 and monies to go
directly to Fire 8 General and North Central Regional Library.
The balance of $2,692,866.51 is to be distributed according to
your direction.
