A "critical position" is one that is essential to maintaining public safety and the legal nanc al, and operational continuity.
Seasonal summer Aids are hired to support summer everts, including the fair. The objective is to hire
2 seasonal employees that -will support the office and s seasonal employees that support
Groundskeeper activities (for a total of 5). Miring seasonal employees reduces the potential for
required overtime and is necessanr to meet organizational objectives during this period of the year.
Moreover, it allows the Fairgrounds to maintain and potentially expand upon the events it hosts.
