Currently these funds are recorded by the Auditor's Office and are co -mingled with current expenses, which is not allowed. PROPOSED FUND 4: 172 —Assessor Recording Fees 172.0000.0000.3414100.300000. —Assessors' Fees .Amount that has already been collected to be transferred into the NEW Fund, will be calculated by the Treasurer's Office. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION INCREASING THE RESOLUTION No. 26- oi' -CC AUDITOR'S OFFICE CHANGE FUND FOR THE COUNTY FUND #001.104 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention. of the Board of County Commissioners that the Auditor's Office Change Cash Fund belonging to county- fund #00 1, Department #104) needs to be increased; and WHEREAS, this Fund was established (no known resolution or date) in the amount of $50; and WHEREAS, Resolution NO. 90-11 -CC increased this fund by $ 5 0 to $ 5 5 0; and WHEREAS, Resolution NO. 92-060-CC increased this fund by $150 to $700; and WHEREAS, Resolution NO. 97-106-CC dated June 17, 1997 increased this ftind by $50 to $750; and WHEREAS, Resolution NO. 17-047-CC dated May 23, 2017 increased this fund by $200 to $950; and WHEREAS, Resolution NO. 23 -071 -CC dated August 1, 2023 decreased this fund by $50 to $900; and WHEREAS, the Auditor's Office is requesting an increase to this change cash fund in the amount of $1,050 to $1,950. Vasgpez Clerk of the Board Cindy Carter, ember Page 2 of 2 BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION TO RESCIND RESOLUTION No. 26- D 19' -CC RESOLUTION 26-015-CC AND CREATION OF A NEW FUND TITLED "ASSESSOR RECORDING FEES" #172.0000 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners that a new fund is needed to manage and track the Assessor's Fees related to current land use applications in accordance with RCW 84.34; and, WHEREAS, the creation of said fund and transfer of monies into this fund may be accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws; and, WHEREAS, these funds are recorded by the Auditor's Office and are currently co - mingled with current expense, which is not allowed; and, WHEREAS, this newly created fund is to be used only for Assessor Recording Fees; and, WHEREAS, on February 17, 2026, the Commissioners approved the request to create the new fund; and, WHEREAS, an incorrect Resolution was submitted with the request, which was not noticed until after Board action had been taken; and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Grant County Board of Commissioners to rescind this incorrect Resolution and approve the correct Resolution for the creation of this new fund. Page 1 of 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, State of Washington that Resolution No. 26-015-CC is rescinded and this fund is hereby created and established as listed above and the Grant County Auditor and the Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this fund in their respective offices.
