A "critical position" is one that is essential to maintaining public safety and the legal,financial, and operational continuity.
The SUD clinical Supervisor is crucial to our department as they are assigned to sign off of Substance
Use Disorder Trainee notes. It is required that a supervisor dedicate 25% of their time to each trainee.
Renew currently has 5 trainees, therefore we need the Supervisor for review and signing off of Trainee
documents. They complete paperwork for all patients in the SUD program who are transferring from
one level of care to another on a weeldy basis. They provide leadership, direction and clinical
supervision of assigned staff in the SUD Program to assure the provision of quality, efficient and
ethical services, assuring individualized quality substance use disorder treatment which contributes to
the well being of the citizens of Grant County. This position conducts substance use educational
programs in various communities in Grant County. The SUD Clinical Supervor in addition covers all
duties of SUD Program Manager when they are out. They cover clinical seni-ces, as needed.
