Request Summary:
Treasurer Darryl Pheasant has requested approval to Pair out 153 hours of earned comp
time for employee Carrie Heston.
County PohicY 703.3.1 states, Corp, time may be accrued to a max-imum. balance of forty (40) hours.
Comp time balances should be regularly reviewed by the manager or supervisor, and the employee.
Comp time balances are reconciled by accounting at the end of every month. Comp time in excess of the
maximum at the time of reconciliation shall be paid as overtime.

Other Considerations: It is recommended that the Treasurer, his staff, and accounting adhere to
County policy to ensure that all compensatory time hours over 40 are paid out each month.
