GRANT COUNTY WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.87 inclusive, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners has received a petition to vacate certain County Maintained roads and rights -of -ways known as LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Adrian Loop, roadlog 46604 from milepost 0.0 at the northern entrance in to Adrian Townplat, then south along the as -built road to the NE corner of Lot 1 Block B4, approximate EMP .1; along with unbuilt rights known as the rights between Blocks B1, B2, B3, and B4, along with the alleys in B3 and B4 excepting between lots 1 and 16 ADRIAN TOWNPLAT, IN SECTION 24 OF TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 27 E.WM ALL IN GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON AND AS SHOWN ON Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, This resolution does NOT vacate any portion of rights west of Block B 1, west of B2 nor south of Blocks B3 and B4; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given to vacating portions of certain County roads and rights -of -way and directed the County Road Engineer to prepare a report on the vacation and abandonment of said rights; and WHEREAS, the Notice of Hearing Resolution 25-098-CC on the vacation and abandonment was published in the County official newspaper at least once a week for 2 consecutive weeks preceding the fixed date for the hearing, a copy of said Notice was posted for at least 20 days preceding the date fixed for hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned, a copy was placed on the Grant County Public Works website. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of Commissioners vacate and abandon all interest in the County Road Rights -of -way as described above, and as shown on attached Exhibit A, except any existing easements, franchises, and utilities.
