RESOLUTION INCREASING THE RESOLUTION No. 25- � � � -CC
ASSESSMENT RATE FOR TURNKEY
LIGHTING DISTRICT FOR 2026 TO $28.00
PER PARCEL
WHEREAS, Resolution 02-193-CC approved the formation of the Turnkey Lighting District;
and
WHEREAS, the Order set forth that the amount of the annual assessment for the LID was to be
determined by Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County; and
WHEREAS, the current assessment of $24.00 per taxable parcel has been deemed by the Grant
County Treasurer insufficient for the 2026 payments; and
WHEREAS, the Treasurer has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners to increase
the 2026 tax assessment from $24.00 per parcel to $28.00 per parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Treasurer use
these figures for the assessment rate in all future assessment rolls of RID No. 02-1 until further order of
the Board.
