PROPOSED FUND #: 171 — CE TRAVEL FUNDS The Board has approved a Budget Appropriation of $351,463 for Fiscal Year 2026 to be used for Travel by Grant County Personnel. However, to ensure accountability and conservative spending the Board will be reviewing and approving all requests for Travel in Advance. Process and expectations will be outlined in a proprosed Resolution for presented at the next consent agenda. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE RESOLUTION No. 26- �g-! -CC CREATION OF A NEW FUND TITLED "CE TRAVEL FUNDS" #171, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners that a new fund # 171 titled "CE TRAVEL FUNDS" should be created; and WHEREAS, the creation of said fund and transfer of monies into this fund may be accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws; and WHEREAS, this newly created fund is to be used only for Travel Expenses that has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Commissioners. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that this fund is hereby created and established as listed above and the Grant County Auditor and the Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this fund in their respective offices. The Grant County Treasurer is directed to invest all funds relating to this newly established fund for the benefit of the fund.
