Request to add Vehicle Category 81, titled Motor Pool - Small Car/SUV/Truck, with
a lifespan of 10 years or 100,000 miles. The rates will be $0.74 per mile, the combined
Depreciation & Replacement cost of $0.53 and the Maintenance & Operation cost of $0.21.
Vehicles used less than 10,000 miles/year will be charged $7,400/year, paid monthly.

Public Works is requesting to add Vehicle Category 81. The title will be
Motor Pool - Small Car/SUV/Truck, with a life span of 10 years or 100,000 miles.
The rate will be $0.74 per mile, which is the combined Depreciation and Replacement
cost of $0.53 and the Maintenance and Operation cost of $0.21. Vehicles that are used
less than 10,000 miles per year will be charged $7,400 per year in monthly increments.
This change will allow these vehicles to have a rental rate more in line with their
replacement costs.
