RESOLUTION TO DELEGATE ROAD RESOLUTION No. 25- //j -CC
ENGINEER AUTHORITY FOR ER&R
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, RCW 36.80.010 requires the Grant County Board of Commissioners to employ a
County Road Engineer on either a part-time or full-time basis; AND
WHEREAS, WAC 136.600.050 requires the County Road Engineer or other appointee to
administer the Equipment Rental Rates (ER&R) program; AND
WHEREAS, The County Road Engineer wishes to delegate a portion of the Road Engineer's
authority, through a limited appointment, by the Grant County Board of Commissioners; AND
WHEREAS, The delegated authority shall be limited to ER&R Administration; AND
WHEREAS, The County Road Engineer recommends the delegation of ER&R Program
Administration to the Deputy Public Works Director, John Brissey; AND
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of
Commissioners confirms the appointment of John Brissey to Administer the ER&R Program for Grant
County, effective January 1, 2026.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
