This document outlines general roles, decision -making responsibilities, and collaboration processes to ensure smooth, consistent operations now and in the future. cl I. Marketing Director (Contracted — Coulee'Creati-ve Co) Primary Role: Lead the planning, execution, and management of Grant County's tourism marketing strategy. 0 Key Responsibilities, • Develop and maintain an annual tourism marketing strategy aligned with county goals. • Create and manage marketing campaigns (e.g., digital, print, events, PR). • Oversee creative direction, branding, content creation, and messaging, • Coordinate with vendors, media outlets, and tourism partners, • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting. • Facilitate feedback loops with TAC and integrate approved input into strategy. 0 Manage the approved marketing budget in collaboration with county staff. Decision -Making Authority: Lead creative execution and operational decisions based on approved strategy and budget. • Select vendors or service providers, when within budget and aligned with strategy. • implement campaigns and adjust tactics as needed for effectiveness. 2. Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC) Primary Role, Serve as a representative body to provide input, local insight, and strategic feedback to guide Grant County's tourism marketing efforts. 0 Key Responsibilities, • Provide guidance on target audiences, seasonal priorities, and community needs. • Offer feedback on proposed strategies and campaigns during scheduled reviews. • Vote or make recommendations to county leadership on key marketing priorities when needed. • Support outreach efforts and encourage community engagement in campaigns. I • Help identify opportunities for tourism -related partnerships or events. I 0 Decision -Making Authority, • Advisory capacity only. Final decisions on strategy execution rest with the contracted Marketing Director and county administration. • May formally recommend adjustments to marketing priorities or direction, which the Marketing Director will consider in collaboration with county leadership, 3. Collaboration &Communication Regular Meetings: • Marketing Director and TAc will meet [monthly or quarterly] to: • Review marketing performance • Discuss UPCOMing campaigns • Gather committee feedback • Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed for key initiatives or approvals. Communication Flow: • The Marketing Director will share updates, proposals, and reporting ahead of meetings. • Committee members may submit ideas or feedback via email or during meetings. • The Marketing Director will summarize how feedback has been addressed or inc l'�orporated. Conflict Resolution, • In the event of disagreement or unclear boundaries, the County Commissioners or designated county administrator Will be the final point of review. 4.
