RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION No. 25- -CC
EXECUTION OF A FEDERAL
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NO,
25-64210-005
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local
government entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate
with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and
facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best
with geographic, economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development
of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the WA State Department of Commerce is authorized pursuant to Chapter
3 9.3 4 RCW to enter into interlo cal agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, is vested with authority to enter into an
interagency agreement pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of Federal Interagency Agreement is for the purpose of pass -
through funding to the OIC of Washington as Public Services to low- and moderate -income
persons in Grant County; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County and the WA State Department of
Commerce to enter into this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Federal
Interagency Agreement between Grant County and the WA State Department of Commerce be
approved.
