Commissioner Burgess, Jones, and Carter,
We have scheduled a free vaccination and microchipping clinic on October 25, 2025, at
the Moses Lake Grange. We anticipate vaccinating two hundred fifty dogs, and one
hundred fifty cats. We will also be prepared to microchip four hundred pets. These
numbers are consistent with a free vaccination clinic we held several years ago at the
fairgrounds in Moses Lake.
The vaccinations will protect the animals against common canine and feline diseases.
Rabies vaccinations will be performed by veterinarians from Washington State University
and Pioneer Veterinary clinic in Moses Lake.
The cost of the vaccines and microchips will be approximately $7,000.00. We would
appreciate any financial assistance you can provide to offset this expense. The Grange
has graciously agreed to waive the rental fee for their facility.
To get the vaccinations in time for the clinic, we must order them by October 10, 2025.
Thank you for considering our request and supporting animal rescues in Grant County.
Sincerely,
v
Dave Helvey
President
