RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION No. 25- 0,6 1 -CC
EXECUTION OF INTERAGENCY
AGREEMENT AOC2527 BETWEEN
GRANT COUNTY AND WASHINGTON
STATE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF
THE COURTS
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local
government entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate
with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and
facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best
with geographic, economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development
of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts is authorized
pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW to enter into interagency agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, is vested with authority to enter into an
interagency agreement pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Interagency Agreement AOC2527 is to reimburse
extraordinary costs of resentencing and vacating sentences as required by State v. Blake
("Blake') to Court; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County and Washington State Administrative
Office of the Courts to enter into this Interagency Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Agreement between Grant County and Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts.
