RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION No. 25- 61 -CC
EXECUTION OF INTERAGENCY
AGREEMENT AOC2566 BETWEEN
WASHINGTON STATE
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE
COURTS AND GRANT COUNTY
DISTRICT COURT
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local
government entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate
with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and
facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best
with geographic, economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development
of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is
authorized pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW to enter into interagency agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County District Court is vested with authority to enter into an
interagency agreements pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Interagency Agreement AOC2566 Rural Court Security
Program Agreement is to provide reimbursement of a percentage of overall court security costs
in order for the Court to comply with the Trail Court Security criteria established in GR36; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County District Court and the AOC to enter into
this Interagency Agreement AOC2566.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Agreement between Grant County District Court and the Washington State Administrative
Office of the Courts be approved.
