SURPLUS OF PUBLIC WORKS
VEHICLE
RESOLUTION No. 25- 0-7 V -CC
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of County
Commissioners has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is
surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works owned one (1) 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Pickup, Equipment #2211; and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 2025 the Board of County Commissioners declared said pickup
surplus and ordered the sale thereof to another Grant County Department; and
WHEREAS, this pickup is not surplus to the needs of the county, and was purchased for
transfer to Grant County Central Services; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Grant County Board of Commissioners to rescind the
declaration of surplus and affirm the transfer of Equipment #2211, 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Pickup.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Grant County Board of
Commissioners RESCIND Resolution 25-067-CC declaring surplus the above -named county -owned
property.

RESOLUTION DECLARING
PERSONAL PROPERTY SURPLUS
FOR SALE TO ANOTHER
GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY
RESOLUTION No. 25- 0(ol-CC
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of County
Commissioners has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is
surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works owns one (1) 2016 Che-vTolet Silverado 1500 Pickup,
Equipment #2211 and
WHEREAS, Grant County Central Services has a need for this vehicle and desires to
purchase it in the amount of $ 8,000.00 to be paid from Fund 00 1. 112; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works has requested that the Grant County Board of
County Commissioners declare this vehicle to be surplus to the needs of the department and order the
sale thereof.
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above -named vehicle and ordering the sale thereof to Grant
County Central Services.
